Start at a fellowship. Decide later.

Nobody joins a Rotary club from a website. You come to a meeting, you watch how the club works, you meet the people you would be serving alongside — and only then does anyone talk about membership. The pathway below is the whole of it.

The pathway

Five steps to induction.

  1. Attend three consecutive fellowships

    The 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, 18:30 to 19:30, at Kibo Palace Hotel. Three in a row, so that you see the club on an ordinary evening and not only on a good one.

  2. Learn what we actually do

    Sit in on the project reports. Ask about the Blood Bank budget. Visit a site if you want to. Service is the substance of the club; fellowship is how it gets organised.

  3. Submit your CV for review

    Your CV goes to the board and to the membership. Rotary admits members by professional classification, so the club is looking at what your profession adds to the table.

  4. Complete your dues

    Membership fees cover club administration, district and Rotary International dues, and the weekly meeting. The current schedule is given to you in writing before you commit.

  5. Be inducted

    You are inducted at a fellowship, receive your Rotary pin, and are assigned to a committee. From that evening the projects on this website are yours as much as anyone's.
